Cloney 0 Posted January 21, 2002 I don't know if it was the 1.42 patch but it seems that BIS had some spare time and added the Ural, T-72s and extra BMPs to the end of the mission. The commander then tells you to get to the helicopter like you do in the demo mission. Neat. Maybe this is a hint that BIS is modifying the single missions? Intruder 0 Posted January 22, 2002 Same here damage, I played the demo versio so much, I've only played the ambush mission once in the full. When I did play it, I completed it, cleared the town, and didn't have to retreat to the extraction zone. Must have got so much practice from playing the demo. Sure enough, shortly after the truck arrives (and you shoot it up) when four armour vehicles arrive on the scene from the same direction as the truck. The bad news is I didn't last long after their arrival to look for others and I didn't have a RPG available (I usally grabbed the PK in the past). Looks like a change in tactics. Armpit 0 Posted January 22, 2002 I´ve still got v. 1.40 and it already has the extra vehicles which btw came as quite a shock to me! I´m guessing that the modifications were made in the bigger upgrades (1.2 or 1.3) and not in 1.40. I wonder if some other missions were changed at the same time (haven´t really played any of them since) ? I´m a bit pessimistic about BIS tinkering with the original missions in the future, though. r71 0 Posted January 23, 2002 Take a RPG off of a dead guy use the UAZ go over the hills to the south. You will see that all of the tanks crew are out of the tanks blow them up and take a tank. mahuja 12 Posted February 4, 2002 I've several times played through the 1985 campaign. Suddenly, there was one of the new vehicles there! And suddely one of my teammates had the mm1! The clue is, the patchers messed a bit with the 1985 campaign file too, adding the new content to the campaign too. I've seen steyr several times in the 1985 campaign. Rogue2020 0 Posted February 5, 2002 Well "cough" I'm so damn good I successfully held hudan in the demo version once....took the UAZ...headed for the other town ran down the T72's tank crew stole the T72...took out all the tanks and stuff around and while I was heading back to hudan it said I was successful in the mission....
