Badassdom 0 Posted February 10, 2006 I recently installed ofp® on my "new" pc and while playing ofp my pc reboots. The firts time it rebooted(?) was in the mission where you have to fight of the russian attack on the guerrila camp, i just changed the setting on the sound, i enabled hardware acceleration in sound options. So i think its either a sound issue or its a problem with the video card because it does play for a while without any 3rd party addons, but when i use 3rd party addons in the editor it reboots imediatly when i use more then 1 Windows XP 2002 service pack 2 Intel Pentium 4 cpu 3.00GHz Clockspeed 2.99GHz, 1.00GB GeForce 6600 81.98 so can anyone help or link me to the right topic? Placebo 28 Posted February 10, 2006 Searching for "reboot AND sound" from "the beginning" will find a large number of threads all with the same problem and same solution, if your sound card is incompatible in such a way it crashes Flashpoint then you need to reduce hardware acceleration on ths soundcard.
