Â No (I'm resisting the overwhelming urge to hit you), VBS2 uses whole new engine, and VBS2 is a whole generation ahead of Armed Assault. Armed Assault has essentially the same engine as OFP and was said to support all OFP content, so anything created with a utility for OFP should be usable in Armed Assault, but wether it will take advantages of the new enhancements ingame is another issue, in which point some sort of conversion process may be required.
