woosh6 0 Posted December 25, 2005 i just wanted to know if there is a limit on how many addons you can put into the game... my cousin said he recently had to re-install his operation fp because he put to many addons in... he also said there is an OFP mod "dictionary" and that it can be filed up. is any of this true, also my game has recently been saying (while ive been working on a new HUGE mission that ive been working on for a while) "Memory full" ... any way i thought i would ask some experts

Sepe 1 Posted December 25, 2005 Well there is a limit of addons you can load up at a time (using modfolders is good) but if you use the -nomap parameter in the shortcut, you'll be nice. Well some say it causes performance hits, but I haven't noticed any.
eestikas88 0 Posted December 25, 2005 too many addons cause performance hits and long-long loading times. trust me. i use modfolders too and of course -nomap. -nomap command is your FRIEND.
