Stuttering now Access Violation Error

Recommended Posts

You have a big amount of addons, adding -nomap thingy to the shortcut thingy might help smile_o.gif .

According to one of his other 74 threads in here he is using -nomap smile_o.gif

Ah, silly paint...

So, anyone got any kind of solution perhaps? As a last measure i'm downloading the FFUR 2005 pack right now to see if it can fix the crashing.. maybe i'll get lucky. I love OFP.

BTW, i've already tried reinstalling twice, with no luck. I did a registry clean afterwards aswell.

GAAAAAAAHHH! I want to break something in half..!

It seems i have MORE crashes now that i installed FFUR (nothing else)...

I'm becoming tired of this, I can't even get past the bloody splash screen.. Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 005A191E

IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!

EDIT: Someone mentioned something about a D3D8 acess violation error? I'll try that if all else fails.. How could i fix that? No SP installed.

You can search The FAQ for "d3d8".

It seems i had my memory timings set wrong in my BIOS. This in turned caused some errors in them, wich in turn caused my OFP crashes. Excuse me while i go slap myself with a large trout for setting them wrong :/
