marshmanguy 0 Posted January 19, 2002 i got upgrades 1,2,3,4. I belong to gamspy. I can go into rooms launch but then it just freezes for a bit then plonks me back in the room. What do I do? Also, i can't host either because of a fire wall or proxy thing (i wanna host) p.s. Im no tech head so please make ur answers very simple and detailed. Lock N Load 0 Posted January 21, 2002 i have the same problem. when the host launches the game i get to the creating client screen and it boots me back to the room. sometimes it says Ddhelp has performed and illegal operation and then Aphex has performed and illegal operation. My pc has a McAfee Internet Security firewall, a cable connection and I'm running v 1.4 ( not downloaded new patch yet ) and I have never been able to connect to a game since Sept when I bought it. I emailed Codemasters and have done what they suggested i.e. uninstall/run scandisk/defrag/reinstall etc etc but still no joy. Maybe if you email their tech help too they might realise that it's a problem that quite a few people have and they might bring out something for it. Good Luck ( I'm still trying to work on it ).
