Daniel 0 Posted November 26, 2005 The OFP.Info server has been up and running for some time now, so we thought it would be a good idea to make a thread here to atract players and mission makers. At the moment, the server uses Operation Frenchpoint addons, and a poll is up at OFP.Info to decide the next mod/addons to be used. It looks very much like the next to be used will be BW Mod, so we are looking for missions using any of their units, as well as units such as Major Ghandi's CH53, and Colourchanger's German Tornado. (For a full list of currently used addons, check here.) OFP.Info also now features the current Server Status (Players online, Mod used, etc) on the right hand column of the news page. The server can be found under the name OFP.INFO :: Eclipse-servers.com, or via 87.117.208.230 (Port 2302). The Team Speak 2 channel can be found under the name ts.ofp.info:1000. We host all types of missions, from Capture The Flags, to Co-ops, and also have some BW Mod Capture The Island missions ready for when we switch to BW Mod. We are looking for missions that use addons by the BW Mod, or other German addons such as Major Ghandi's CH53. Or if you would like us to convert your mission to BW Mod for you, that's great too. I am struggling to configure our distant OFP server which is running on the about the same kind of PC (dual Xeon 2.4Ghz, 2 Gb DDR) as the OFP.info Eclipse server. Could you please post part of your "userinfo.cfg" and "flashpoint.cfg" so that I could configure our server accordingly ? Our main concerns are lags, low FPS, and view distance.
