Body Grab (v0.96b)

Here's a change of the normal scenery for you:

Version: Played and built on v1.96 Resistance, but should work with v1.90 and higher

Type: Single Player

Filesize: ~3.50 Mb without addons

Addons:

-JAM3 or JAM2

-Laser's Deltas and Rangers

-Lasers Weapons Pack

-Unscripted War: Vietnam Grass

-Invisible Targets Addon - Included in zip, 4kb.

Background:

An impending enemy assault must be stopped. To gain intelligence on this looming attack, you and your Delta Force team are being inserted into the weakest enemy sector to sieze a few prisoners for interogation.

The mission can be downloaded on OFPEC here.

All comments are welcome. There are a few surprises and tricks in the mission for you so I hope you enjoy. Some key features are:

Good mission, good take prisoners feature. One suggestion. It would be nice and more realistic if there would be a way, to assign prisoners to one of your men. Now they stick to you, what is very unhandy. And you can leave them anywhere, which is not realistic. If you could assign one man as a prisoners guard, you could leave him with them by simple OFP command (keys F...,1,6). And you could send him on your back if needed. Or you could change guards for some reasons. Or if guard would be killed, you could assign new one.

May I use the script (I did not check it yet) in my missions?

UPDATE

I played it second time. Still no success :P

1. If two POWs stand one close to other, you got more then one action about POW following on/off.

2. If you shot telephone it still rang. If you use nade close to telephone, it will fly somewhere and then ringing will be coming from... somewhere. I think from underground.

3. I get only 3 POWs. No more enemies in the area (my men shot all other not-POWs-yet during firefight).

4. I drove to our lines. I found nothing. No patrols, no front, nothing. Even in HQ there was nothing. I guess it took me so long, that war was over :P

5. When I cleared area (in briefing it is the weakest point... heh) and had only 3 POWs, I took decision to move to HQ. How? It was over 10 clicks! So I took UAZs. But POWs can't get into any vehicle. I had to leave them. Maybe I should shoot them... smile_o.gif

When we get to HQ, there was no end of mission.

6. SPOILER. I do not know how to make officers to give up. Every time I have to kill them.

But still this mission is good fun.
