Greg147 0 Posted October 29, 2005 Some times you don't actually need to kill them. When they come, gain some altitude and fire at them with your cannons. With any luck your leader will finish off the tanks while the apaches try to attack you. Then if your leader goes down, fly away from the base as fast as you can, then put on auto hover. You will automaticly gain loads of height, and the choppers will be bolow you, hovering about. Staying at the same height, fly back to the base, and clear the rest of the tank if your leader missed any. The message will come up saying the paratroopers are being dropped. Then just head home, away from the choppers. At least, thats my stratagy if I run out of cannon ammo. Try to kill the choppers first.
sanctuary 19 Posted October 30, 2005 If you find air combat with those 2 apaches being too hard, how about attacking those 2 apaches before they have a chance to take off ? After taking out the Vulcans, fly directly to the snowy mountains north of the enemy base, while your leader deal with the tanks. And look for the village between those 2 mountains, here are your 2 foes always on the ground , leaving you a chance to destroy them before the pilots react After that , you can finish what your leader did not destroyed in the enemy base without a problem. void_false 1 Posted October 30, 2005 LOL ppl! You really need to practice more
Nightjay0044 1 Posted December 9, 2005 Yeah, he's probably right more practice makes perfect accuracy. Although I never beat that mission. I always got shot down and then I tried destroying them all on foot. Killing enemy soldiers, trying to find LAWs etc. lol that didn't work too well.
