SHWiiNG 0 Posted October 15, 2005 im not sure if this has been suggested but anyways... has anyone here played WW11 online?? well we all know the concept of it.. online WAR.. a large scale map of europe, where players go online, in order to move their front line etc.. (the progress of the 'front line' can be seen on their website) i just thought that mabe ofp has the scale to be like this, and it would ,make the gameplay more dynamic, meaning , you would feel as though you were actually playing for a purpose, to push the enemy back, mabe an RPG style elemen can be introduced, and this would leave the window open to many more gameplay ideas, and more importantly depending on either sides strategies, would then determine how the battle, and thus the whole campaign goes. shwiing. D.murphy man 0 Posted October 16, 2005 well i cant see BIS paying, and mentaining large scale servers and such like WW2 online has. Plus they would have to charge us a monthly fee for that sort of thing. Althou id imagine that not long after release some one will convert a CTI map to the 'next gen' game, with join in progress and a dedicated server and hopfully better net code for more players i cant see why we couldnt have large scale conflicts to across the island.
