Kyle_K_ski 1 Posted September 6, 2005 Hello All, I've posted below a screenshot of the graphics smearing I encounter during night time/very dark conditions. http://img38.imageshack.us/img38....ror.jpg As you can tell, the smearing of the brighter objects over darker areas can be fatal to one's game play experiences, so any advice on how to rectify this would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you! Kyle

Kyle_K_ski 1 Posted September 6, 2005 I'm already using 32 bit. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card.

Kyle_K_ski 1 Posted September 29, 2005 Thanks for all the help gents, but I figured out what was causing my "smeared night time graphics" on my own. I'd somehow forgotten that I had installed Kegetys' DXDLL support, and I played around with the configuration program that came with his mod. I discovered that when I left the "Use fading" option (found under the Postprocessing tab) on that it caused my night time images to smear around a "burned in" image. After I unchecked said option, my smearing problem was completely gone. YAY! Thanks again for your feedback. Kyle
