sanctuary 19 Posted September 5, 2005 If the O2 model is in ODOL p3d format , you can't open it in O2, it will create that "unable to load file" error. When you create/save a model in O2, it will save it in MLOD p3d format, then to optimise the model you can binarize it with the binarize utility from BIS, and it will convert your model in ODOL format. To open an ODOL , you must convert it back to MLOD. To do so, you can use ODOL Explorer 2.44 but notice that it will break some selections in the model during the process (but not for all models) and you will have to rework those selections by yourself in O2.
