strangelet 0 Posted August 3, 2005 hey guys. i been working on macs for 8 years, drooling over my friend's copy of OFP. last week i finally bought a windows machine, along with OFP GOTY the patch to 1.96 that came on the cd refuses to run, telling me there are errors in certain files, mostly to do with resistance (rathole.noe, bizon.pbo, and all the MP templates).. as a result i can't join any online games. i tried reinstalling and running it again several times and the "damaged" files are different each time. is this a known problem? i cant find any mention of it here on the forums... the game itself installed and ran fine the first time, then the next time i went to continue my Resistance campaign, it just crashed to desktop. now when i run GOTY it tells me it's missing BIS_Resistance... any thoughts before i wipe my hard drive and start over?
