B.A.M 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Id like to see the engine support 'dynamic' decals to the body / vehicle? Bullet holes wherever you hit, etc. Also blood effects onto objects. Is this too much detail? B.A.M 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Ive a feeling the damage is not as immersive as you imagine. I tihnk the buildings will have pre-determined 'break' areas and will only fall 'dynamically' with the physics engine. Having said that most games are like that anyway. Just on a large scale (ie buildings) it will be more noticeable they break in the same places. Maybe a few diff versions of each building with diff break areas to add some variety. Goeth 0 Posted May 24, 2005 Dynamic decals to the body would be great, also bullet hole decals to the walls would be nice, and all those should be implemented like that they don´t disappear after few seconds. Also all empty shells should stay on ground as long as the game is going. Imagine some small village after two hours of heavy battle, bullet holes, destroyed buildings and empty shells everywhere .
