US voice actors needed.

Anyone who's played my missions knows I always try to put voices  into them. I'm currently working on a hostage rescue mission and I need a couple of actors who are american or that can do a passable accent.

Just use a mic and a recording package. Windows has one or you can get one of the net.

There's no such thing as a "British" voice/accent, a Scot sounds very different to a Welshman as they both sound very different to an Irishman as they all sound different to an Englishman, hell even Northern and Southern English accents are extremely different, being a Northerner myself I know that

i know that, i am irish myself.

but to generalise, regional british accents arent the "accepted", in international terms.

generally when someone says british, they mean english and to be even more specific, they mean 'imperial officer english' not a leeds accent or scouser or geordie.

Ok, after much farting around, the script is more or less ready for recording. I've included a link to a page where you can download the script .zip file. Its only about 2kb in size so 56k people shouldn't have a problem, even with Freewebs. I've split the script into different character files so nobody misses stuff out.

Now, here's where I'm going to sound like a basturd. Please be careful when recording the files that you don't get bedroom echo. I can add echo with my sound editor but I can't remove it. Also, try not to do a totally wacky voice because I may e-mail you for some more sound files if I like what you've done or I need some more dialogue in my mission.
