This is lots of fun. One thing, dogfighting an X-wing with another X-wing is pretty hefty work. And when you finally do dispatch one of these guys the pilot ejects before you can get the kill on your stats.

So far the only and ONLY way I've ever gotten a kill with these things is using the HYK's super weapons PK and AK47 guys. biggrin_o.gif

I must suck bad....

I can't even destroy these things on the ground, because you place them on the map editor, and in about 5 seconds ZOOM they're outta there before you've even loaded your first X-Wing killing T-80 Sabot round.

Anyway not really a bug, and I don't reallly mind actually.. it's just that I played for about 2 and half hours just trying to figure if I could kill these things when they are piloted.

But really nice work, I've never been so frustrated at a low speed dogfight before.... usually with plane addons it's a "catch up" game, whereas with these things you do all sorts of twisty, turny spray and pray movements. Excellente.

I'm already on it. Scifi mod supplied Tie models for retexturing. I am also retexturing an A_wing and Y-wing.

I agree it should look a little brighter at night, but that would also kinda suck, knowing say for missions. I'm an Imperial sneaking in a Rebel base at night, and there are these huge parked bright X-Wings sitting there.

I would just make more than one version, X-Wing day and night, and then X-Wing spacecombat (only of course a smaller name)

The X-wing will be ready for a final release soon thanks to KaRRiLLioN great scripting.
