Can I change onLoadMission time?

Recommended Posts

I am changing the daytime as usual (skipTime number) at the very beginning of init.sqs. It works just fine - except the onLoad screen where appears the original time! Can I change (or hide) it somehow please?

Don't think you can change the time display to anything other than the mission start time (before it's skiptimed).

However, you can:

OnLoadMissionTime = false

In the desc.ext file and that should hide it.

uhm

are you aware that you can change the initial time in the editor menu itself too? just click on the place where it says "May 10 6:00" and you can select another time & day & weather.

most people tend to forget, this is why May 10 is called "the bloodiest day in OFP history" (as someone's signature on the OFPEC Forum rightfully has it)

disregard this solution if you are using skiptime to create a random starting hour at startup

0730 Hours, May 10: A date and time that will live in mission-making infamy.

Also, any mission that takes place at this time (And with medium weather and no fog) is treading on Crap Mishun territory wink_o.gif .
