put fired eventhandler possible?

is the "fired" eventhandler able to detect when a Put weapon is "fired"?

Why not test it out quickly,

this addeventhandler ["fired",{player sidechat format[{%1},this]}]

and then place a satchel.

You will get a fired EH on putting it down me thinks, but not on blowing it up, hence you need a workaround to detect the explosion or whatnot.

its more for like a rucksack purpose.

using a dummy put weapon. and with this eventhandler detecting it ,it will add the real ammo or weapon to the unit.
