Zombie problems!

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have a problem. Whenever I use a lot of zombies (6-9 groups) I don't get any lag, but I do CTD quite a bit. I installed the Dxdll for better graphics, is that going to corrupt the zombie pack? Any help?

Oh yeah, something else. Is it possible to give some of the zombies weapons?

Anyhow, DXDLL wont corrupt the zombies, but maybe DXDLL is causing the CTD's....whats your PC specs......

AMD Athlon 3200+ 2.2 Ghz

Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB

Windows XP

1 gig of DDR

I'd figured that it would be able to run it...I could run many large scale-battles between several platoons easily.

Does it CTD using any other addons rock.gif I cant imagine why the zombies would crash it when combined with DXDLL as opposed to other addons wow_o.gif

Well, I've used different addons for the soldiers fighting the zombies...I44 and WW2Vet Germans, WWIIEC 2nd Ranger soldiers, and HYK 03' woodland soldiers, along with a blackhawk and AH-6. They all crash after a few minutes.

Ok first of all make sure you update your video drivers....this could cause come problems if you are running DXDLL on old drivers.....if that doesnt work....there are uninstall instructions for DXDLL in the readme, but i think they go along the lines of "remove all the files this addon adds", so try removing it and if its solved then that was the problem.....if it still crashes then at least you know its not DXDLL causing the problems smile_o.gif

Its the old "elimination" technique tounge_o.gif

Try thinning out your addons folder, or using mod folders instead. I used to have terrible problems with OFP until I deleted or re-organised a load of files.
