SSEnigma 0 Posted August 10, 2004 I think we can all agree that MFCTI has done a great job and has kept part of the online community online. My friends and I have been playing it almost everyday of the summer and we are getting tired of Everon. I know there are multiple CTIs but i cannot find them could anyone help out? I have Sebnam (Ia drang island) CTI WWII CTI(Bunch of islands) Default 1.16 CTI(Everon) Are there any other ones such as EECP or ones that are different islands with the default units?(Malden nogova etc) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

russin 0 Posted August 10, 2004 Wargames CTI is not very good at the moment not the mappers fault it is do too Wargames pack bugs with AI the next Wargames patch will result in many more CTI maps also it will bring a new Wargames CTI ladder/season we are also opening up mfcti 1.16 ladder but minor tweaks are being made to the default 1.16 map. keep an eye here as well for even more CTI goddies WGLCTI ladder Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Medicus made one, based on the cr cti, you can get it in the fdf mission repository (see gnats post) or from our site. Also, mellis ported Medicus fdf cti to another fdf island. So there should be at least 2 different fdf ctis out there. RN Malboeuf 12 Posted August 11, 2004 what server type are you using, no matter what mods you are using they wont effect the server, the dysync later in the game comes from poor clean up and wrecked shit in game and the increase of AI units so this is the CPU laggin, a 3.0 GHz with fsb 800 with 10 mbit line should solve this any thing less and the CPU will not beable to keep up with what is happing, thus the dysync thats why our servers are so powerful now compared to the old days running a 1.4 AMD on a T3 heh our server can run CTI for 3-4 hours will almost 0 dysync with the occasional server hickup (out put drops to 50kb from 1500kb but when this is over it takes all of 10 seconds for the dysync to clear up, this happens on almost all CTI servers and is the cause of the start of dysync, some server will be able to compensate for it when it stops, other will not Im starting to think its 1 player loosing conection is some specific way, we'll see just that 1 guy stop in place for a minute, then the server starts to choke (drops out put to 50kb from 1500kb), if you kick the guy the problem stops instantly, and if you leave him be he drops or he starts updating again and the server starts throwing out 2000kbs to catch up and all the dysync goes away, im thinking the servers that cant out put past 2000 kb or have a slower CPU will never catch up and lag for the rest of the game Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

[aps]gnat 28 Posted August 13, 2004 Waterman, your MISSION.SQM "addon" headers must be all wrong, even building a AH64 brings up a "missing addon" message ..... but the chopper does appear. I recommend openin (text editor) the SQM file from a ORIGINAL 1.16 and copy the two "addon" defining sections (their fairly obvious, you'll see them within 30 lines of the file start) and paste into the same spot @ top of your file. These errors occur because the vehicles are not actually present in the OFP mission editor when you save it, they only appear in-game via the CREATEVEHICLE command. Any probs, let me know and I'll do it for you ...... cuz it was fun playing CTI on this island !!!! Nice work. BTW, you have a "town" defined as a small factory site in the south west corner, BUT the site has no name ...... hence I only knew it was a CTI goal because my AI raced off to attack it !!!
