pitufo 0 Posted July 31, 2004 I just re-installed OPF and the first things I started adding were the BAS addons. I installed the latest 1.55 version of the Delta/rangers and I tried to play Toadlife's Operation Lojack. (Which I was having problems with before I re-installed\.) I am getting an error: missing BAS_deraw and BAS_weap. But I have those installed... Does it only work with the original version of the BAS Delta/Rangers??? Before I re-installed I was getting an error (although I was usually able to play) missing addon: BAS_repairh thx.
pitufo 0 Posted July 31, 2004 Nevermind the nevermind... I'm still having the same problem with this mission as I did before.. I can play the mission, but I can't resume it or load any saved games... Right now all I have running is Keg's 1.11 EU and the BAS deraw 1.55. Pls Help! I searched the forums for a way to contact Toadlife but I couldn't find any... Is it the latest delta/ranger patch that causes this problem? I didn't have this problem before. If it is then can anyone tell me where I can find the original BAS deltas/rangers? benu 1 Posted July 31, 2004 The bas_repair.pbo has/had an error that caused every mission that uses an ah64 (and NOT the bas_repair.pbo) to stop working with the error message you gave. It was broken. It seems like you have some more broken addons. Sometimes broken addons work if you put all addons into the addons folder and not modfolders or res/addons. Though sometimes they don't. As finding out which addons is broken and fixing it can be a lot of work this may be the easiest way to get your ofp running again.
pitufo 0 Posted July 31, 2004 Thanks, I found that the mission works fine with the original version of the Delta/Rangers.
theavonlady 2 Posted August 1, 2004 I received a copy of an unofficial fixed BAS Repair PBO file. Back up the original and try it.
Heatseeker 0 Posted August 1, 2004 I received a copy of an unofficial  fixed BAS Repair PBO file.Back up the original and try it. I deleted mine has it was ruining cutscenes and intro's, fortunetly the helos do not have any dependency to this small addon that i find quite useless, i also prefer Lojack2 with original BIS units for some reason, just changed the bis blackhawk to BAS UH-60L and the A10 in the outro to Inquisitors for the much better engine sound, while at it i have found that almost all enemy units had their skill level to the max , you all know what a machine gunner with high skill level can do to you at 700M+ . pitufo 0 Posted August 1, 2004 Wow! Thanks! EDIT: I can't seem to download it off of any of the public servers. None of the buttons seem to be working....
theavonlady 2 Posted August 3, 2004 Wow! Thanks!EDIT: Â I can't seem to download it off of any of the public servers. Â None of the buttons seem to be working.... If the servers are full, try again later. Or it may just be a tentative hiccup at FileFront. HeatSeeker, what was causing cutscene problems? The original BAS_Repair.pbo file, the corrected one or both?
Heatseeker 0 Posted August 3, 2004 HeatSeeker, what was causing cutscene problems? The original BAS_Repair.pbo file, the corrected one or both? The original one. I havent bothered with the corrected one because i dont see much use for this small addon, i dont like to repair, rearm and refuel at a landing H .
pitufo 0 Posted August 4, 2004 Just a note, I figured out that it was my Norton Internet security and/or firewall that was preventing me from downloading from filefront. Same thing happens at OPFEC.
