Ballistics

Recommended Posts

Heya,

I need someone to help me understand this chart.

As Vincent Vega said, we europeans don't get what "a quarter of pound with cheese" is.

It is a chart of M16, M4, AR-15 simulation showing their ballistics.

Othe question is:

Can it be translated into OFP?

And let me be clear about it. I don't want no jam2 thing.

Here comes the first chart:

Yes and no you can as you proplery know set the Speed of the bullet when it leaves the barrel(you just have to calculate it in to m/sec)and set how much it disperes(if you find out how this is calculated please contact me) as fatres as I know you cant set how much energy the round has you only have to determen how much dammage you want your bullet to make when it hits.

M16= 20 inch barrel

16 is a 16 inch barrel

M4=A 14.5 inch barrel

Shorter barrels have lower velocities and cease fragmenting at closer ranges.

Quote[/b] ]Meters please

1 foot = 30.38cm

1 yard = 3 feet = 91.44cm

or to be specific, a yard is almost a meter! biggrin_o.gif

...wanders off to work out how long a furlong is...
