WarWolf 0 Posted June 23, 2004 Stoopid question, really, but I remember (perhaps wrongly) that I used to be able to stand up straight while holding a rifle, instead of half leaning over and sighting. You know, like all your AI teammates do while relaxed and not shooting, the gun is held more loosely across the chest. I can't remember 1. if this is possible, and 2. if so how to do it.... pls help.......
theavonlady 2 Posted June 23, 2004 Z or PGUP keys are defaults for alternating between prone and standing. Read the manual or look up your key settings from OFP's OPTIONS menu.
WarWolf 0 Posted June 23, 2004 Thanks for that, but I don't mean the Z/Q keys, like (Z)prone / (Q)kneel+stoop / (Z)stand. You know when you're in standing-up 'mode', if you look at your soldier from 3rd-person view, he's aiming through the gunsights while standing - if u look at the other (AI) soldiers nearby they ain't standing that way, but are in a more relaxed posture with the gun across their chest, not aiming.... I cannot remember if I can get my dude to do the same or not, and it's doing my head in!! If so, how? If not, OFP2 pls? (My manuals/keychart are 150 miles away at my parents house (long story), so this confusion is twice as frustrating...)

Some do have the stance you are discribing

iNeo 0 Posted June 23, 2004 If you haven't changed the file Anim.pbo, then it's the standard animation that only AI can use unless you use the "switchMove" command in the editor but that's worthless. You should try one of the animation replacement packs anyway.
