jonstyle 49 Posted June 12, 2004 I just got a new pc, so I've transferred all the patches, tools and addons from the old pc. I begin to install the addons into the normal ofp addons directory, and in the Resistance addons dir. I can install a certain amount of addons, and then suddenly when I try to start the game, in ver1.94, I get this goddamn message: "Cannot create 3 device, adapter 0(mobility radeon 9200, fullscreen resolution 1400x1050, format R5G6B5/D24S8, refresh 60hz. ErrorD3ERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY" Outofmemory my ass!! This new computer of mine should have plenty of memory for Flashpoint?! Does anyone know how I can fix this? dm 9 Posted June 12, 2004 Add -nomap to your OFP shortcut. For example, mine reads: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"C:\Program Files\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nomap Also, I suggest upgrading to 1.96 final too. theavonlady 2 Posted June 12, 2004 Search The FAQ for "mod folders" and use them. That means moving your addons from OFP\RES\Addons and OFP\Addons. While you're at it, divide up your addons into multiple mod folders. If you do so and start up OFP with selected mod folders instead of all of them, you may get away without needing to use the -nomap switch.
