bladed 0 Posted June 7, 2004 Hi There I bought a radeon 9600 a few weeks ago and ive been unable to play ofp since. i can get into the login screen. but when i try a custom mission or a campain it quits out onto the desktop. Also i cant update the game to the 1.20 patch upward. I get a sound.pbo error - even if i directly copy from the cd just before i load the patch. My system spec is as follows: win xp home mobo: abit kt7a v1.3 graphics - ati radeon 9600 sapphire ram 512 pc100 crucial sound card - soundblaster 16 Ive read through a few forums and i cant find an answer. Mister Frag 0 Posted June 7, 2004 You can try The Unofficial OFP FAQ for help with your crashing problem, but I think getting V1.20 to run is pointless -- there are a ton of bug fixes and enhancements in later versions that I wouldn't even bother looking at the Radeon problem right now. Guba 0 Posted June 8, 2004 I got the same video card as you do and I'm not experiencing any problems at all, I've tried it with ofp 1.0 and it works fine. Try updating your video card drivers if you haven't done so already. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
