Positioning objects

Ok, i'm trying to make a small arctic style base using various objects from mapfact barracks etc.

The problem I am having is that when I place an object like a clipboard on the desk (editorupdate102) it is standing up whereas I need it to be lying down flat on the desk.

Any ideas on this (keep it simple because I am a complete idiot at everything)

I assume you are using proxys to do that, right? Is it an addon or a mission you are making?

Hi MiG, It is a mission I am trying to make but the major problem is that I can place the object on a desk but it always seems to be standing as I need the object ( clipboard ) to lie flat on the desk.

I am using Kegetys Editorupdate102 and found a way to get access to the unused addons through the editor ( clipboard, office desks, lamps etc ).

Well, it is not possible to rotate objects on their x or z axis in the editor. So, what you are trying to do is not possible in the editor. WHat you can do is find the clipboard model and open it up in oxygen. Then, lay it flat.
