Video card problem

Recommended Posts

Ok, I have looked through any FAQ or troublshooting example I could find on this site to help me out. Nothing has worked, I have done the -nomap at the end of the shortcut for resistance which is what I currently want to play. I have no add ons installed. Here is a list of my computer specs and the error message I recieve:

AMD Athlon 3200+

1GB PC 3200

ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256 MB Video

ABIT KV7 (Motherboard)

I have direct x 9 installed and there is no problems.

Every time I start OFP Resistance I recieve this error message , believe me it is not the Resolution I have tried every stinking one. I have the latest drives from ATI that came out April 4th. or 14th cannot remember.

Error Message:

messedup.JPG

This is quite annoying I am a big fan of this game and I really want to play.

Resistance is running at 1.91 I might have the beta patch, I installed that to see if it would help, my arperture is running at 128 mb.

Upgrade to 1.96, -nomap wasn't available until 1.94 I believe so using it is worthless if you don't patch to the latest version.

I will probably just reinstall everything and do that , let you know if It works or not. Thanks a lot.

Cool smile_o.gif

Not sure about the final version but the beta version of the patch uses a different exe so make sure it's that one you're using and with the -nomap command smile_o.gif
