20 mile horizon at ground level

I did a search but there was no mention of horizons in this forum.

One thing I think would be great if implemented would be a proper horizon. This is a natural view limiter which would be very effective (especially for those sunrise screenshots ;)).

Assuming a LOD system is developed for the terrain then a natural horizon would not go amiss. This would mean only the peaks of distant mountains would be visible in the far distance even if visibility is the maximum and there is only water between you and the base.

For higher altitude views I am sure the terrain detail level can drop accordingly for the view to extend.

I would hate to be the one to program bullet travel dynamics for such terrain but the game would far surpass any other game if this were to be included as the engine could almost be used for any type of game imaginable. (more so than v1 anyway)
