Using game logic as cargo placeholders

In this thread Vitapc pack 1.1 finale, By akm74 greaaat!!! it is suggested that you can assign game logics to take cargo positions. I've tried this on a couple of missions lately and can't seem to get it to work. I get a long, slow painfull CTD each time. This was tried using INQ's M113's and ORCS ZIL-131's.

I'm using 1.96 beta + ECP.

Has this "feature" been broken in recent patches? Can anyone else confirm that this technique works?

So to do this I would place a game logic on the map and in it's init line put this moveincargo vehicle1? Where vehicle1 is the name of the vehicle.

IS there something else that would need to be done?

Hmmm.....this is what I have done, and OFP get stuck at the Get Ready... screen and just sits and sits and sits and sits and then CTD. Got an error once about running out of protected resources, but usually just goes to desktop, with OFP still running in the background but not in the task list and taking up VAST amounts of memory!!!

I'll have to try this with a VERY minimal selection of addons and see if it's still a problem.
