vektorboson 8 Posted February 27, 2004 hey guys, how do i change the weight of a "drop" created cloud for example? i mean the effect similar like on the bullet splashes: the particle rises up and falls down after a while. You probably read the drop-tutorial and I explained that the weight/volume ratio (density) should be more than 1.25 (or was it 1.125?) to let a particle drop to the ground. So just make a particle with a velocity with positive z-value. This particle goes up into the air. If the weight/volume ratio is more than 1.25, than it should slow down and begin to drop to the ground. Just make sure that you rlifetime is long enough, or it has enough mass! pang 0 Posted March 10, 2004 yucki, i totaly forgot about this thread. thanks vektorboson! i´ve already readed your tutorial before. i used a sinus calculation as a template from another script now and it works just like i wanted it to look.
