Geometry lod question

Hi all i need the comunity help again smile_o.gif

I experienced probs with this damn geo LOD:

with buildings i made that are closed(you can't enter it) i have no probs.But with enterable houses i have a correct geo LOD BUT i can fire through the walls.

This is quite annoying;i tried different LODs configurations and althought the geo is correct i can still fire through the walls.

I tried geo LODs with simple elements like boxes and i tried to copy/paste the 0.000 LOD(simplified)and impossible to fix that firing prob.I also added a fire geo LOD but the prob is still here.

For info i also made triangulize/squarize,recalculate normals,check faces etc...But all that stuff does nothing for this firing prob(bullets pass trough walls).

If anyone knows how to fix that i'd be glad to know...

Have you tried "Structure" => "Topology" => "Find components"

And remember that you CANT have textures on the faces in the geometry lod,that would mess it up

Yeepie nvm i found by myself:

In fact at least for buildings u have to make a geo LOD with simple elements such as boxes etc...

In my first try i made something wrong..

Yes it needs to be very simple,I always say along the lines of building a lego geometry

No pieces overlapping or in the same place as others,just faces wont work

Heres another tip: walls should be at least .5 meter thick to help stop the ability to walk thru walls,this also helps the ability to stop seeing thru walls,you ever walk up to something and can see thru?
