Dr. Lah 0 Posted January 30, 2004 M21,can you tell me more details, please. What is nomap? Is it some special file, or maybe I should rename flashpointbeta.exe as nomap? I tryed with Keggy sollution, but it does not work. Thanks!
Placebo 29 Posted January 30, 2004 -nomap is a command line parameter. Create a shortcut to FLASHPOINTBETA.EXE on your desktop. Right click it and select properties, then in the shortcut tab add -nomap to the end (also -nosplash to get rid of the adverts) click ok. Now start the game with the shortcut. If you've done it right it should look like........
Dr. Lah 0 Posted January 31, 2004 Hi! I did with -nomap like you said, but when I click OK,I get message, that name in target is not valid. I use windows XP. What I did wrong? Thanks!
Placebo 29 Posted January 31, 2004 I haven't used XP for a while now, if I remember correctly it may use quotations around the target? Try putting the -nomap after the quotations, making sure there's a space, someone who uses XP will be around to correct me if I'm wrong Edit: I just looked in Avon's FAQ and she has it written that you put the -nomap after the quotation.
