gundernak 0 Posted January 20, 2004 reflection of back up copy Q: I guess you read, it was my 1st post... Yes, you are right I have not read the forum rules, but who does. I am sorry. ...anyway, is it the OFFICIAL forum of the BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE STUDIO, developer of OFP? I asked a simple Q. There was a meaning of it. I guess I have bought a software, not a cd. There has been a price of it. I payed it. I do not want to drop it to the trash.... So, this question is very reasonable!!! I said it was not too nice, because you should at least tell me, who is able to answer this Q. If it is very forbidden here. Instead of this you kick me off... Is the a 'more official forum' then this?

shinRaiden 0 Posted January 20, 2004 This is the officially hosted forums, hence the need to stick to the rules. There is an authorized channel for discussing media issues, and it has been repeatedly stated that you do this through support@bistudio.com or codemasters directly. Nobody here can do anything about it any way, and those that can, have asked that you use the production channels. Check your manual for warranty contact information. Thanks. Placebo 29 Posted January 20, 2004 This is the official Bis forums, therefore Bis do not want information on here which could allow someone to make copies of the game to give to people who haven't bought the game, that is why such threads are closed, it is nothing against you, you're more than welcome here, just that Bis do not want discussions about such things on here. I'm sure if you think about it you will understand and want Bis to make as much money as possible from there incredible game You can always Email Bis and ask them, you may get a reply you may not. You can pay for a replacement CD from Codemasters if the CD stops working. However you can buy the "Game of the year" edition for around Å8 so with it being so cheap it's the best option if your CD stops working. Please do not make any new threads about this, if you feel the need to discuss the issue send me a PM, if anymore threads are made about copying/backing up Opf I will have no option but to restrict you from posting, as you're new I don't want to have to do that
