kobugui 0 Posted November 30, 2001 or must be 1.20\1.30 to install it?
Sgt Kabukiman 0 Posted November 30, 2001 Having just looked at the CD-content. It installs pretty much (even the 1985.pbo is copied from CD), so I think you only need an installed 1.0 Version and the "Gold Upgrade" will do the rest.... Not sure, though.... But you need to enter the Serial-Number again, so I think we can install clean from the Gold Upgrade Version? Or does it check for an installed OFP? Anybody? MotherRussiaAK74 0 Posted December 1, 2001 I have another question... is it availible for download yet???
Sgt Kabukiman 0 Posted December 1, 2001 No Download yet. It checks the original CD of OFP when you want to play the game. It doesn't check for the CD when you install Red Hammer, I think.. can't remember....
Gilroyg2001 0 Posted December 1, 2001 I have just purchased red hammer today, and it is really good, apart from the fact that the first missions are a lot harder than the first ones in the original, I recommend you buy it, its worth the money.
FUBAR 0 Posted December 1, 2001 yea nice storyline (not seen all missions yet), but the strategy guide worth Å4.99p it aint worth crap, lets face it most people that will purchase the gold upgrade, are after the new missions, as they have already compleated the first campaign, so what use is the guide? the mission editor guide is as big a joke as the info that BI have supplied, ie next to usless. When are BI or Codemasters going to listen to this games community and release a proper editing guide that everyone can understand and use. to sum it up "I dont feel that it is worth the asking price of Å9.99p, drop the cost of the guide and you have a more realistic price of Å5.00p for the upgrade" where they get the price of Å4.99p from I dont know, I can buy a 150 page book for the same price. Nice how there is a delay on the download version, Codemasters knows that a majority of people will not wait (I'm one of them) and spend the Å9.99 to get the new missions asap, so more monies for Codemasters
