Up to you. If you take the binoculars and LAW launcher from the downed squaddie in front of you then you run the risk of being nailed by enemy goons closing in from 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock.

If you're quick and accurate you can try to take down various goons from a distance while hidden in bushes, but expect them to flush you out if you get it wrong. The easiest and safest - but by far the slowest - way is to forget you have any weapons and just sneak from bush to bush.

Don't worry about trying to get all the way to the original evac. point; you'll never make it. You'll get assigned an alternate evac. point fairly early in the mission.

iirc there's a small hamlet on the other side of the wood, by the road. There's a BMP lurking somewhere around there but if you can avoid getting spotted by that there's some wheels by the houses that you can pinch. Then just drive like a maniac to your waypoint, running over as many Soviets as you can en route!

The weather gets much worse through mission, it gets easier in a way because the AI isn't good at close range - in the fog.

You can run through the forests until you reach the evac point. Of course, you have to watch out for the two buggers who'll pop you if they see you around the point before you hit the trigger tounge_o.gifmad_o.gif .

After playing throught Resistance campaign, i went back and played CWC and After Montignac was a completly different level - you were with a squad and you had to kill some russians that were by a farmhouse in the SW.

That's "Rescue". Search The FAQ for "montignac must fall".

Thanks, yeah I was worried about that - After Montignac was my favourite mission, although one of the most difficult. It's certainly the most tense.

Strange meeting is the one where you are with the gorillas and you have to rescue the civilians in the town. I think...
