pong2cs 0 Posted December 15, 2003 Fraps is a good tool to record with, downsides are, it uses a LOT of harddrive space, uses a LOT of system resources, and you have to use a maximum resolution of 640x480. http://www.fraps.com Virtualdub is a good, yet fairly rough program for doing "minimal" editing to the video... I mostly just use it for encoding. http://www.virtualdub.org Up side is that they're both free and fairly easy. That's one way, other would be to utilize an TV-Out from your graphics card, should you have it, plug it in to a VCR, tape it, roll it back onto your PC with a TV-Card (unless your graphics card has TV-In, and then proceed with editing there. If you're on XP, consider using Windows Movie Maker 2.0, neat little program if you ask me. http://www.microsoft.com/downloa....Lang=en Hope I could be of some assistance. Croatia -ICL- 0 Posted December 15, 2003 erm went to site and found: Real-Time Video Capture Software - Starting with FRAPS 2.0 you can capture video (and now audio!!)from your online gaming sessions... while you play! FRAPS can capture video from most DirectX and OpenGL games at up to 1024x768, at up to 30 frames-per-second. This one costs, anyway my reolution is 600*800 lowest Free demo gets 15 seconds. Wont really work out. Anyone Else got something simliar to FRAPS, but free Thanks
