Voice communication is a must have in-game feature

Recommended Posts

I cannot stress this enough! I am sick and tired of every single

lame mainstream shooter, call of duty, mohaa, all that STUPID ST"UID

GAMES! which does not have in-game VOICE COMMUNICATION! And MODS

which run under a 4 year old!! 4 YEAR OLD ENGINE!! Has to me the

BEST in-game voice communication EVER! It is as simple as ****ing

in the toilet, and I DONT SEE ANY NEW GAMES COMING OUT WITH IT!

Games like Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, and nearly every single

mod for the half life engine uses their Voice Communication, VOICE

COMMUNICATION IS VITAL!! VITAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN MULTIPLAYER

SHOOTING GAMES, I swear, every time a new pc shooter comes out, I

would expect them to have voice communication, but they dont! so I

dont buy them, I don't care how good the graphics is, I don't care

how good the gameplay (altough this is kinda part of the gameplay)

is, because once you start playing online, YOU DON'T WANT TO TYPE

TO TALK TO A TEAM MATE, WHEN YOU HAVE A DAMN MIC RIGHT INFRONT OF YOU!

So Codies, before you try to make your own, I strongly urge you to

take a look at counter-strike and mods alike for the half life

engine, and just spend some time observing the voice-com's, and how

people use it, and how damn good it is! I can't believe games don't

make little patches so voice-communication could be inplemented.

If I ever had the money to create my own games, I would own the

whole damn gaming industry! But since I don't I am only

suggesting this idea... VERY IMPORTANT! to you people who

do have the $$

Thank You

You are indeed a nasty bastige, but you have a good point. However creating a voice comm engine once you have a full blown engine like OFP developed is not all that hard. At least I don't believe it is, someone could enlighten me if there are major issues...
