hi err im new here but have been playin op flashpoint for a long time

i just downloaded a new machine gun but how do i actually use it i puyt it into the right file n that but how can i select it please help

If you use OFP Resistance put it into the Res/Addons folder and then go into the editor and search for a soldier with it there, you cna only use it in missions made with it or must make your own with it to use it.

Btw i guess this topic belongs into the troubleshooting area

yes but what do u do do you put into a ammo crate cause i cant find the soldier with it

You don't automatically get to use it. You must either play a mission that was designed to incorporate the specific addon within it or you have to create your own mission using it with the mission editor.

If you want to do the latter and the weapon is not associated with a given soldier unit, you'll have to learn the basics of OFP editing in order to do this.

If you want to start learning, the best place to begin is The OFP Editing Center (OFPEC).

Check that the weapon isn't in its own subfolder too. that will prevent it from being available.
