cam0flage 0 Posted November 19, 2003 Hello, After endless googling with no results, I decided I'd try to get some help from these forums. At the moment I am trying to fix my parents' computer. Nothing is really broken, but there is a very weird problem with text in different Windows applications: Sometimes some letters are lower than others. Basically it looks a bit something like this ... Quote[/b] ]Te t   s .. with the s-letter being a bit more up. The top of the letter is just above the line. This might be a bit confusing example, but at the moment I am unable to take a screenshot because I've forgotten my login/password for my www host  The computer is running Windows 2000 with SP4 installed. I've scanned the computer with Norton Antivirus and Ad-Aware, and they found nothing. Help would be appreciated. Cheers, cam0flage
cam0flage 0 Posted November 20, 2003 I thought I'd never do this on these forums, makes me a bit sad, but ... BUMP!
ralphwiggum 6 Posted November 20, 2003 maybe corrupt font files?
cam0flage 0 Posted November 20, 2003 Thanks for the reply, but I think it's not the fonts that are screwed, because it happens with a variety of fonts. I really hope I don't have to do a complete reinstallation of Windows, configuring the wireless network is quite a job for someone like me
edc 0 Posted November 20, 2003 Are there any particular letters that are weird or is it random?
cam0flage 0 Posted November 20, 2003 Totally random. I tried to observe if there could be a certain pattern, but naw
