Thud_and_Blunder 0 Posted September 25, 2003 Can someone help Sad'n'Bewildered (that'll be me, then) with the Swiss Mod AAE pack? I've installed the utility from BIS (which seemed to be over in the blink of an eye, yet with my lack of computer knowledge seemed to do, er, not much at all...). I've then tried opening the downloaded Swiss pack, only to find that I have no programme capable of reading an .msi file. Please, someone - what should I be doing? Apart from going into a home for terminally-confused computer illiterati, that is...
edc 0 Posted September 25, 2003 Just double click the MSI from SwissMod to install the addon. MSI's are installers and all AAE stuff will be in an MSI.
Thud_and_Blunder 0 Posted September 25, 2003 I'll give that a try. Very many thanks for your time and trouble.
Thud_and_Blunder 0 Posted September 26, 2003 Yup, it worked as you said. Once I'd managed to get my brain around the Windows "how do you want to install this unrecognised filetype" ritual, it all worked fine. I note there's no mention of uninstalling previous Swissmod iterations - when I've finished my homework I must see if the setup works OK... Thanks again.
