benu 1 Posted September 13, 2003 If i have several modfolder and some of them contain different versions of the same addon [1], e.g. i use -mod=0;1;2 and those modfolders contain different versions of the same island (let's say, trinity 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2), which one gets loaded/used. Is this defined? I know that resistance uses -mod=RES internally to overlay the addons folder with the the addons from res\addons, so the -mod= param can overlay cwc addons. And i also know that modfolders that you specify can overlay addons in the res\addons folder. Are the addons i specify in the -mod= parameter loaded in the order that i specify? Or are they just loaded after the res addons in a undefined order? If they were loaded in the order specified this would make using shared modfolders for different servers easier as one could ensure that the right addons are loaded via the command line parameter in the shortcut... [1] I know that this is bad, but some servers use installers that install their addons into the standard res/addons and addons folders, so some of my players have addons in those folders that conflict with those on my server

Certa 0 Posted September 19, 2003 I experimented with that and found out how it works. Look at Addon Servers
