Mister Frag 0 Posted December 22, 2001 There are lots of guys here with Athlons. The price you were given is not a very good one -- check out PriceWatch.com if you want to upgrade, you can either get that same processor for less, or get something faster for the same money: http://www.pricewatch.com

Mister Frag 0 Posted December 22, 2001 Silencer, do you have a motherboard and power supply that will support these processors? Just wondering, because it doesn't sound like you have been keeping tabs on this stuff -- no offense intended.

Hasha 2 Posted December 22, 2001 The latest 1.1 Ghz Durons based on the Morgan core KIcks the Pentium III's arse and EVEN BEaTs the CRAP Pentium 4 in SOME benchmarks! Way to go AMD!!! When AMD release their new Thoroughbred Processor based on the 0.13 micron tech, Intel is going to have sleepless night again! Report says that AMD has some sort of new tech calles ( Transistor over silicon, forgot actual name : )) which is make the AMD's Speed in terms on Mhz greater than the P4!
