Post apocalypse

Hey all,

I am thinking about starting a new side project,Post Apocalypse!

The Story:

Its the year 2050 (or summing) and the world has just come out of a Nuclear War.The atomic flames of hell have spread there firery fingers accross the world scourching the ground and scaring the earth for many years to come.Few living things survive,Nearly all life on earth has been burnt out of exsistance.

But...

Some Humans manage to exscape the Atomic Apocalypse by hiding in great underground vaults.They have spent many years under ground,and now they emerg to a new world...a hell...

The idea of the mission:

It will be a multiplayer mission,about 10-20 players.The players will be split into 2 groups or 4 groups (not desided yet).Each group will start out side a "Vault" and must try to find shelter,food,and protection form other players.

Players will be able to steal food supplies of each other groups and allso building matireal,to build shelters,vehicles,and guns.

Players can gain food by farming or stealing.They gain building materireals from reckage (Destroyed cars ect..) and buildings.

Each player will have XP points (experiencs points).The higher the XP the more things you can construct and do.You gain XP by iver the following:

*Killing

*Constructing lots of things

*stealing

*Scouting and finding new farm land.

Each group has Survival points,Groups gain points by Surviveing.If a player dies his group will loose a point,If there food gets stolen they will loose some more points,and the opposing group will gain points ect...

Winner of the game is the group with most survival points at the end of the given time limit.

I think this would be a very interesting project  

And from the missions u made so far Im sure u will do a great job.

*Edit:

1 - Some sort of radiation pits,where players slowly get hurt? i.e: a place where u can get some goodies but u need to be real fast in and out or u die? like an old military base that was targeted by WMD's?

I have some Ideas:

1) Put a napalm or a big fire script in various places.

2)Use a massively destroyed map (not sure if one exsists)

3)Use the cave addon for the bases

Ill think of some more later.

Might wanna check out this one (War Island).  

It was the first user made island I ever tried out. I remember battles between TOW marines and UCE OMON units. It felt just like Ghost Recon.

Anyway, isnt War Island alittle small?

Thnx for the idieas guys some really good ones and yes i am useing the War Island.I would use Kolgujev but i think it has too many military bases and looks more like a occupied island,rather then a island completely destroyed by nukes.

So ill be useing war island,Inless any one has any other good island?
