reaper 0 Posted December 24, 2001 When I installed the v1.40 patch the first time, I got an error while it was verifying v1.30, the file was 1985.pbo. Â I hit ignore and it finished, but it bugged me that I got an error. Â We're planning some LAN OFP this weekend, so I decided while I had some free time that I would re-install OFP. First time I got an error while patching from v1.20 to v1.30 about the 1985.pbo. Â So I aborded, uninstalled again and rebooted. Â This time rebooting after install, and after each patch. Second time while installing the v1.30 patch I get an error with m2a2.pbo, once again I stop and start over. Third time I get v1.20, and v1.30 installed fine, but while installing v1.40 I get an error with Apac.pbo. WTF is going on here, why are the errors different each time? Mister Frag 0 Posted December 24, 2001 Do you have a system with a VIA chipset and a 686B southbridge?
reaper 0 Posted December 24, 2001 Nope, its an i815EP chipset. I just installed for the last time now, hoping it would go without errors. This time I got an error with eden.wrp while patching to v1.30. I ignored and continued on. However when patching to v1.40 I didn't get any errors.
Thehamster 0 Posted December 24, 2001 OFP system is just screwed up I get these types of problems but they usually sort themselfs out after a fresh install of it all again.
Scope 0 Posted December 25, 2001 Where did you download it? Some versions are screwed up I've heard... try to download it again from this site or from Miss Match's OFP site, who has a 100% working version of 1.40.
