OmniMax 0 Posted August 14, 2003 The A.I in operation flashpoint is stupid, to a degree. They are done quite well, but they have such a hardcoded idioticy, if you know what I mean? An example, they won't fire on a target if you tell them WEAPON CARL GUSTAV RELOAD CARL GUSTAV TARGET (anything, really) FIRE they reply with ROGER... NEGATIVE they will only target moving enemy vehicles with crew in them. I want to make sort of a resistance "rocket team" that shoots rockets at anything I tell them to, but they won't. Is there a way you can script them to fire at anything? I mean, scripts will override OFP's coded in neural network for A.I, right? Maybe getting them to target a laser target and firing at that? Or is there a way you can make them actually fire at whatever by making a custom rocket launcher (RPG-7) and .cpp coding it as a "anti-personel" weapon?
