SpecOp9 0 Posted August 12, 2003 I think it would be cool to make a 21st century modern day campaign, using a completely different storyline from the original Resistance and Cold War Crisis. This has been in my head for an extremely long time now only I have not done much with the idea, so I might as well start here and find out if it is a good idea or not. I think the grand campaign should be made with all the great addons released thus far.... I'm not sure if there will be any illegal issues by naming it. Poet 0 Posted August 12, 2003 Well, yeah I think a big Community made Campaign is what should really be started now, we have a lot of the toys. Like yourself I've had an idea I've been chewing round for a few weeks, trying it out in my head. HOW ABOUT? A World War 3 Campaign done in chapters. That way, each nation that has produced its own units ( FDF, Hokkaido, BW, US, UK and everyone else ) can produce its own chapter, choosing which side it will be on in the World War, and who they'll be fighting. We could even have people switching sides and turning on old allies as the situation got worse, and there would be an organic story behind it that could adapt to different countries as they progress with their addons etc. The potential for intriguing alliances not just between countries, but also between Addon/Mod makers is mind-blowing! And we have lots of very cool and very modern Addons to use, some of which dont get used anywhere near enough. This would help take care of that, giving the players something special, and ensuring Addon makers and mission designers that their work is going to get seriously played. Jus a thought. November 27, 2004 During Operation: Iraqi Freedom in 2003, Russia had supplied the Iraqi military with numerous weapons, supplies, and helpfull tools. President Bush taunted Russia with his words: "Russia will have hell to pay." On January 2004 Russia had begun birth of a new Soviet Union dedicated in attacking the United States and supporting international terrorism. They set up numerous military outposts around the world. Nokorov, Sarugao, and Melktov were invaded by the Soviets and were used as military outposts. The people of Nokorov act offensively, and form a resistance to fight off the Soviet forces. Melktov has also formed a resistance, in hope of freeing their homeland. Any ideas or suggestions? I definately want to use Skye island and Sarugao island.
