mark de gamer 0 Posted July 28 For some reason that I cannot figure out and that I cannot find any info on that is not atleast 2-3 years old. My nozzles in VTOL planes will not stay at 90 degrees down until weight is off the wheels and I wonder if that is an intentional game design thing or if there is something I am doing wrong. What I am currently doing to try and keep them down is: 1. I turn off auto vectoring to give me control over the nozzles 2. I use the flaps down command to lower the nozzles 3. I keep using the command as I increase power as when I set it to 90 it tries to reset 4. Repeat until off the ground and hope you didn't run into anything as your plane slowly slides forward before taking off verically After takeoff the nozzles work fine and I can set them to whatever I want without issue
POLPOX 778 Posted July 29 It's normal for the certain SVTOL plane like (CUP) Harriers. Even IRL Harriers, they are not "allowed" to Vertical Takeoff. Both vanilla VTOL, V-44 and Y-34, have Vertical Takeoff capability.
mark de gamer 0 Posted July 29 I see. I was unaware of this. I thought Harriers were allowed to take off vertically. I would have still liked the option to do so with the mods tbh but nothing I can do about that. Thank you for the answer!
