Oskar 0 Posted July 31, 2003 Hey, im Oskar. And im need of help.. again :P Ive edited the original East soldier to a SS Unit. I applied my own textures to and so on, i got a config and got it ingame. But! *drums* My textures isnt visible because the original East Soldier textures are above it, so im asking you to help me, how do i erease the loaded textures in the texture view in o2? or how do i make the east soldier wear my textures instead of the original. Thanks Regards Oskar My last problem was that my textures didnt show up with my weapon, after a bit fixing i managed to fix it.
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted July 31, 2003 You probly need to change the location of the Textures to the your addons folder.Just select the whole model and locate thise button .Where the path says something like"Data/texture.paa" change it to "AddonName\texture.paa".The "Addonname" is the name of your .pbo.Maybe you can figure the rest out on your own.But if not let me know,And if this isnt what you were needing to know just ignore this post. And dont forget to change the path on every lod. Oskar 0 Posted August 1, 2003 here is an pic of how it looks ingame, strange huh? ill try out what u said, thanks. what i really meant was to totally delete the original texture paths
NZXSHADOWS 0 Posted August 1, 2003 It looks like you are missing the textures for that model.Just go to "File"+"Send" and save the model maybe somewhere like "My Documents" That way all the Textures that go to that model will be sent to a folder in your Documents. But the Textures have to be visible in Buldozer to really be sure you have the textures,But if you do see them than they are present. Oskar 0 Posted August 1, 2003 nope, the only textures that goes there is the texture that ive made my self, and 3 textures thats in the o2 data folder. Isnt there any other way i can just delete the original textures in o2, so they wont be viewed at all, EVER! lol Thanks Regards Oskar
king homer 1 Posted August 1, 2003 send me teh soldier + textures ill look what i can do....
Wonderboy 0 Posted August 1, 2003 if previous textures are overwriting your own (which i think is what you're saying) if you go into face properties (select the model then press 'E') then if you select the textures that aren't yours and delete the file name in the bottom text box and apply, it'll get rid of those textures. failing that delete all the textures in face properties and then retexture it using your textures as you'll start off with a clean model. hope that helps

Oskar 0 Posted August 1, 2003 i tried what u told me, and renamed all the original textures to Bajs\ so they wont bother, but still, they load up ingame. I really dont know what to do. Here is the pic of the SS Soldier in buldozer, as u see, it all seems normal, ingame, it isnt normal. It still looks like the pic i posted before.
