Goonerjam 0 Posted July 28, 2003 I've just bought OFP GOTY edition. I've seen many sites discussing addons (new vehicles, uniforms etc) but my question is: How do you use these new addons? What are they used for? When can I use them? (Single player missions, Multi-player or my own missions made in the mission editor) Sorry for being such a newbie dumb-ass ! So once I've added a particular addon to the addons folder (I must admit I didn't even know there was an addons folder) I can incorporate that weapon / vehicle into my mission. HOW COOL IS THAT!!! waffendennis 0 Posted July 28, 2003 Ok Follow this Step plan and you can use the Addons: 1: Download a Addon: Sugestion: BAS LBS 1.85 ( Thats a BAS addon ) 2: Open the .zip file with winzip or winrar Winrar Winzip 3:Read the Readme.txt in the zip 4: Place the Addon in your OFP> Addons folder and if you dont have 1 go to Res/Addons/ And then place the .pbo file in there 5: Now start OFP and go to the Mission editor 6: Go to an Island ( Desert island ) 7: double click with the left mouse button on the map 8: Go to the West>BAS section and select the Chopper there 9: press preview then if you placed the chopper. and Voilla you can use Addons now Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
