Cneu.Ha3 0 Posted July 27, 2003 I had flashpoint for a long time... since I've gotten a new computer I had to reinstall flashpoint. I updated it to 1.46 and retuned all my old addons and mission editing. when I try to connect to a server the connection screen "waiting server" on my old computer just sits there forever and when I try to press Esc it freezes. Now when I tryed to connect the flashpoint window just returns me to my desktop. my Spec: PIIII 2.6 ghz Windows XP NVIDIA Geforce 4 MX 440 with AGP8X Sound Blaster 512 MB of RAM 106 GB of HD CD burner and DVD burner Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
toadlife 3 Posted July 27, 2003 The built in WindowsXP Firewall is proabably causing this. Gotta love Windows X-tra P-oopie. Disable the built in firewall in XP and see what happens. Can't remember exactly how to do it, since I stopped using XP a long time ago. Open up the help and search for "disable firewall" or "turn off firewall" or something like that.
